THE ROMASHOV DOUBLE RUSSIAN SWING ACT
The Romashov Double Russian Swing Act was created by Volodymyr Romashov. Growing up he lived close to a permanent Circus in Dushanbe, Republic of Tadgikiston. He was six when his father took him to the Circus. Completely mesmerised by beautiful Artists and costumes, incredible Acts and graceful animals, and of the course the unique smell of the Circus. He made up his mind that Circus life was for him, so after leaving school at 16, he auditioned for the Moscow Circus and was awarded a position specialising in Acrobatics. For several years he worked on teeter-board acts until he created his own double Russian Swing Act. Touring internationally from 2008 to 2010 he worked with the Ringling Brothers and the Baurnum Bailey Circus in the United States, and in January 2012 Volodymyr joined the Great Moscow Circus Australian Tour.
